Provide a nurturing and loving environment for toddlers while implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote growth. Partner with parents and maintain compliance with DFPS Minimum Standards to ensure child safety and education.
Requires a high school diploma and preferred bachelor's degree in early childhood education with at least one year of professional experience. Candidates must pass background checks, be physically able to lift 30 pounds, and possess CPR/First Aid certification.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress. Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels. Committed to building a positive team culture. Pass required state and company background checks, including FBI fingerprinting. CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain. At least 18 years of age with 1+ year of early childhood experience working in a professional setting preferred. Bachelor's in early childhood or relevant preferred. Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Proficient technological skills including the ability to use a desktop computer, associated software and an electronic tablet.
