Market context
Michigan school social worker roles often reflect steady demand in charter and district settings, especially where student mental health, attendance, and family support needs are growing. These positions are competitive because employers typically look for an MSW, LMSW, and a valid School Social Work approval or certificate, along with experience supporting school-based interventions. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your MOECS status and prepare examples of school-based casework or crisis support.
