Position Summary
The Dual-Role Scheduling Coordinator / Behavior Technician supports both administrative operations and direct clinical services within the company. This position is responsible for assisting with daily scheduling coordination and operational support during the first portion of the day, followed by providing direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to clients in the afternoon and evening. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about supporting both clients and clinical operations. This position would be 100% in-person at our San Jose clinic. Schedule Scheduling Coordinator Duties: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch Behavior Technician Duties: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM Hours and schedules may vary based on business and client needs. Essential Responsibilities Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities Assist with daily staff and client scheduling coordination Monitor cancellations, schedule changes, and coverage needs Support case planning and scheduling adjustments Communicate professionally with families, staff, and supervisors Assist with authorization tracking and utilization monitoring Help maintain accurate scheduling documentation and systems Respond to scheduling emails, phone calls, and internal communications Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support efficient service delivery Assist with administrative projects and operational tasks as assigned Other duties as assigned Behavior Technician Responsibilities Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients Implement individualized treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA Collect accurate session data and complete session documentation Utilize behavior management and skill acquisition strategies Maintain professionalism and rapport with clients and families Follow all company policies, ethical standards, and safety procedures Attend required trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain Previous ABA or scheduling/administrative experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling systems, and technology platforms Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the workday Ability to actively engage with clients during therapy sessions Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed
