Job description

  • Overview HealthPRO Pediatrics is looking for Behavior Technicians (BT/RBT) to join our fun and growing ABA clinic in Temecula, CA!
  • Schedule: Full-Time - Monday-Friday 8 am-6 pm Part-Time - Monday-Friday (at least 3 consistent days/week) afternoons 2/3/4:00pm-6pm
  • Compensation: Hourly rates between $23-$27/hour

Responsibilities

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The RBT provides one-on-one behavioral support to help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as written by the BCBA Provide direct one-on-one therapy in home, school, or community settings Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behaviors Assist with skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction strategies Follow ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality Communicate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and team members Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings Maintain current RBT certification and required documentation

Qualifications

Active RBT certification or completion of the 40-hour RBT course No certification yet? We provide training and support to help you get certified Hands-on CPR Certification required Background in mental health, child development, or education preferred Passion for working with children and making a meaningful impact Must be 18+ with a high school diploma (or equivalent) Reliable transportation required Physical Requirements MMR, Varicella, and TDap Vaccinations - REQUIRED Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed Ability to engage in active play and therapeutic activities Work Environment Center Based - Temecula, California.
