About Torah Academy Torah Academy is a preK-8 school that has been in the Boston area for 40 years. We foster a supportive professional environment, including extensive professional development, growth, and advancement opportunities. Our students spend the mornings studying and celebrating Kodesh, including Hebrew, Torah, and Jewish laws and customs. In the afternoons students engage in general studies according to their grade level. Because of the intense nature of the morning curriculum our students are pretty sophisticated in their thinking. We are seeking general studies teachers to match that level of rigor in their content areas. Our general studies curriculum is modeled after the public school frameworks, so familiarity with grade level secular academic expectations is a big plus.
