Job description
Bridgeway Academy is seeking a full time Behavior Analyst to provide support and consultation for elementary classroom teachers and to directly support student learning and behavior management of students currently attending Bridgeway Academy.
Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
- Will write and modify Franklin County treatment plans, crisis plans, and behavior support plans for students on the caseload, as needed and track data for Franklin County ABA treatment plans.
- Develop and implement skill acquisition plans that teach functional skills within the classroom and community and determine the need for functional behavior assessments, developing the plan, and conducting the functional behavior assessments supervised by the Director of the Elementary Program.
- Communicate with parents about behavior support including graph documentation etc.
- Provide appropriate data collection methods, monitor data and oversee the development and progress of DTT programs along with supervising and managing RBTs working with students on the caseload.
- Provide insight, training, and coaching for environmental support, including items and arrangements to support safety, positive behavior, learning and includes development and oversight of toilet training programs as delegated by the Director of the Elementary Program.
- Determine need for and conduct functional behavior assessments under the guidance of the Director (BCBA).
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a related field of Special Education, Psychology, Education, etc. and certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a BCBA, or a completed Master’s degree in the field of Behavior Analysis or Psychology and working towards certification by the BACB.
- The ability to effectively communicate with exceptional verbal, nonverbal, written, and listening skills. along with excellent organizational and time management skills.4. Will skillfully manage both small and large group settings including individuals effectively.5. Will have excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to complete paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion.
