Job description

Tri-County Therapy (TCT) is a pediatric therapy practice serving children from birth through age 18 across South Carolina. We provide occupational, speech, and physical therapy services through a collaborative, multidisciplinary model in clinic, home, school, and community settings.

With clinic locations in Charleston, Ladson, Mount Pleasant, Greenville, and Anderson, our team is committed to providing evidence-based care that supports children and families in reaching meaningful developmental goals.

We are currently seeking a contract/per diem Pediatric Physical Therapist to support patients in our Mount Pleasant clinic and nearby community settings, including daycare and home-based visits.

Future contractor opportunities may also become available in North Charleston, Johns Island, and James Island.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and gross motor challenges Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, coordination, gait, and functional movement Recommend adaptive equipment or orthotics when appropriate and assist families with implementation Educate caregivers on home exercise programs and carryover strategies Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, caregivers, and other providers to support patient outcomes

Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program Current South Carolina Physical Therapy license in good standing Pediatric experience through employment, internship, or clinical rotation Understanding of child development from infancy through adolescence Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation Contractor positions are compensated per visit Additional opportunities for increased caseload and schedule flexibility may be available
