Job description

  • An immediate opportunity is available with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of District Medical Group (DMG), practicing at Valleywise Health Medical Center (formerly Maricopa Medical Center).
  • Valleywise Health is opening a new 240-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine.
  • The new hospital is designated as a state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.
  • Valleywise Health co-sponsors nine residency programs affiliated through the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children’s Hospital and is well situated in central Phoenix.
  • The position would include employment through DMG, a 400+ multi-specialty group exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching.
  • This position will support the educational initiatives of the OB/GYN department’s associated teaching programs.
  • OB Generalist · Flexible inpatient and outpatient responsibilities · Duties include labor and delivery, outpatient clinic staffing, as well as gynecology consults and surgeries. · Regular schedule is inclusive of weekend and night shifts.
  • Candidates must have MD/DO degree, Arizona medical licensure, ACOG Board-certified or Board eligible.
