In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and always acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to control access for employees, contractors, guests, and deliveries at the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, sales floor areas, production spaces, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and help to support security-related operations through clear reporting and attention to site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
