Bambini Montessori Academy is actively seeking a passionate and caring Twos Teacher to join our team as soon as possible. We are looking for an educator who is ready to step into a meaningful role and help guide young learners during their most important developmental years.

What you’ll do
- As a Twos Teacher, you will create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where learning happens through exploration and guided instruction. You will:
- Plan and implement daily lessons aligned with Maryland Early Learning Standards and Montessori principles
- Maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment that supports early development
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and milestones
- Guide positive behavior and support smooth classroom routines and transitions
- Build strong, professional communication with families regarding student development
- Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to ensure a consistent learning experience
- Maintain accurate records including attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation
- Ensure full compliance with MSDE and OCC licensing requirements
- Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development

What we’re looking for
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and ready to contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 19 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion or willingness to complete
- MSDE-required training:
- 90-hour Preschool Certification
- 45-hour Child Growth & Development
- 45-hour Preschool Curriculum
- 9-hour Communication Course
- Basic Health & Safety Training
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Maryland State background check and fingerprint clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE)
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed early childhood program
