Description of the Position

  • (Purpose of the
  • Position): This position will aid the Athletic Performance staff in facilitating training sessions for varsity athletics. This includes demonstrating exercises and monitoring athlete performance for proper technique and safety.

Duties: and Responsibilities:

Assist the lead performance coach in coaching & demonstrating designated exercises. Learning & leading warm-up protocols, monitoring performance data, ensuring a clean and safe environment for training.

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

Preferred CPR & AED Certification

Physical and Environmental Factors

This position requires crouching, kneeling/crawling, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, and lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs. to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and proximity hazards to perform the essential functions.
