The Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students within the school setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Position Overview

As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based interventions to support student success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
  • Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid limited state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Maryland (if applicable)
  • Educator Certificate (if applicable)
  • Experience working with school-age children preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and be eligible for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Applicants must also obtain or already possess valid limited state licensure in Maryland and potentially an Educator Certificate.
