About the role

The Early Intervention Educator acts as a primary coach within a multidisciplinary team to provide evaluations, assessments, and ongoing services for children and their families. They deliver support in natural environments, such as homes or daycares, to ensure interventions are relevant to the family's daily routines.

Essential Therapy Solutions started in 2007 in response to the overwhelming number of families in our Arizona community requiring services.

We obtained school contracts as well as becoming a Qualified Vendor with the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).

We also contracted with other agencies holding Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) contracts to deliver services to the birth to 3 population.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in: Education, Early Childhood, Family Studies, Child Development with an EI concentration, state certificate, license, or credential, or an educational program closely related to the field of child development.

A minimum of: Five courses from an accredited college or University related to early childhood development, or requisite, relevant employment experience related to early childhood development.

More about this position: Early Intervention Educators will work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team in order to provide evaluations, assessments, planning, and ongoing services in collaborations with the child's family and other community representatives Demonstrate knowledge in Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) and the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and Professionalism, Child Development, Family Professional Partnerships, Teaming, Assessment and Evaluation, Planning and Intervention Early Intervention Educators act as the Team Lead (Primary Coach) for a family or support other disciplines as a Joint Visitor in one-on-one sessions Early Intervention Educators are part of the Early Intervention team consisting of Service Coordinators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Vision and Hearing Teachers Supports and services are conducted in a natural environment (typically home, daycare, park, etc.) in context of the family's typical routines and activities so that information is meaningful and directly relevant to supporting the child Flexible schedule, you and your teams make the schedule!

Please be willing to work the occasional evenings or weekends, as needed for service provision to families.

Services may be provided with a hybrid approach using teleintervention (Zoom) should the family prefer.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of experience working with children under the age of 5 Two years of pediatric experience preferred Valid Driver's License Eligible for Class One Fingerprint Clearance Ability to lift 25 pounds from floor to standing Skills: Ability to handle workload and travel to client's homes Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Must have basic computer skills, including word processing Must have excellent and professional written and verbal forms of expression, interpersonal and problem-solving skills W2 Employee Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Paid Holidays, 401k, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Pet Insurance, and more perks We are an agency of providers dedicated to empowering families and their loved ones by enhancing their quality of life within our local communities. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood, Family Studies, or a related field, along with at least six months of experience working with children under five. A valid driver's license and eligibility for a Class One Fingerprint Clearance are also required.
