Job Description
Instruct and provide support to individuals in community and internship sites, and to ensure that the assignments are met according to employers' requirements. Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
Assure all individuals are treated with dignity and respect. To adhere to all agency safety policies, including safe driving and seat belt practices. Assist individuals (i.e., through demonstration, repetition, verbal and gestural instruction) in learning job tasks. Assist Individuals in establishing community employment relationships, schedules, and adherence to work policy. Support Individuals as needed (i.e., setting work pace, implementing work responsibilities, correcting work, etc.) to ensure success in the internship experience. Problem-solving issues with the individual and employer. Completion of all assigned documentation, including daily schedules, annual summaries, progress notes, data sheets, etc. Follows and implements all clinical services and programs as applicable Verbal Interactions as per Behavioral Support Training Communication OT, PT, ST Perform other duties as assigned. Transport Individuals to/from work Assist in working out schedules and schedule conflicts Assist coworkers by providing support as needed. Minimal Qualifications: High School Diploma +1 year Human Services Access and provision of an insured automobile on an ongoing basis Divers License Necessary Knowledge. Skills and Abilities: working knowledge of employment supports. Ability to read/write English, ability to instruct individuals. Special Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
