BronxWorks Adult Literacy & ABE Program seeks a dedicated and compassionate Adult Literacy and Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction to adult learners across varying levels of literacy competency — from foundational literacy through HSE/GED preparation. The instructor will support students in building essential academic skills in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, with sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and learning needs of adult learners. This position reports to the Assistant Program Director and works collaboratively within a team committed to meeting DYCD funder benchmarks and program requirements.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Liberal Arts, or a related field and experience working with adult learners. Candidates must be comfortable with technology for remote learning and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
