Tutors provide one-on-one instruction to students in their homes or online using a proven curriculum. They are responsible for improving student outcomes and maintaining effective communication with parents and staff.
We are StudyPoint, a national leader in one-on-one tutoring. We operate in 19 markets nationwide as well as online, and we have worked with more than 55,000 students since 1999! Currently, we’re seeking SAT and ACT tutors to work with students in their homes and online. \n
Are engaging and energetic while instructing students; Utilize and customize our proven curriculum to improve student outcomes; Are responsive and communicate effectively with students, parents, and employees; Create a positive, safe learning environment; Have fun while helping students achieve their goals.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience Bachelor’s degree Strong academic background Confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including both verbal and math sections (Math sections include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry) Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes

Curriculum: We create all the lessons and homework assignments. We even have an online grading system, so you don’t have to spend time correcting assignments!

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience. Proficiency in all SAT/ACT sections and access to a reliable car for travel are required.
