Responsibilities
Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for students as well as facilitate appropriate behavior strategies Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments using evidence-based tools Maintain compliance with relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations (e.g., BACB Code of Ethics) Provide ongoing support to direct support professionals, ABA implementers and other individuals in support roles for families Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools to conduct functional assessments and analysis when appropriate Create/maintain a data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for students; analyze data to implement best practices Provide appropriate service to each student on the caseload Establish open, frequent communication with parents and all related service staff Make recommendations for the time needed to implement behavioral goals Participate in appropriate staff meetings as requested Establish and maintain a positive working atmosphere with staff in order to encourage a positive learning environment for students Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment Strong family engagement and communication skills
