Job description

  • Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a School Psychologist to join our team near Carteret, New Jersey, for a temporary elementary school-based placement.
  • This assignment will support a maternity leave coverage from September 1, 2026 through January 29, 2027, with orientation scheduled for August 25–27, 2026.

  • Setting: Elementary School-Based Services Assignment Type: Temporary school-based placement / maternity leave coverage Orientation: August 25–27, 2026 School Year Assignment: September 1, 2026 – January 29, 2027 Hours: M–F, 8:30am–2:55pm Pay: $60–$65/hour Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.
  • Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct psychological assessments to identify learning and behavioral issues and interpret results to develop intervention plans.
  • Counseling and Intervention: Provide individual and group counseling, and implement intervention strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for addressing academic, behavioral, and social issues.
