Job Description

Summary: The OhioHealth Acute Care APP Fellowship is an innovative program for Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to obtain post-graduate clinical experiences, mentorship, education, and professional development opportunities necessary to improve their transition to become skilled, proficient Advanced Practice Providers. The program begins annually in January. Applications for the APP Fellowship will be accepted annually beginning June 1 through June 30 and application period may be extended at the program's discretion. Program Eligibility Eligible candidates are required to meet the following criteria prior to starting the program: 1. Graduate from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care NP / AGACNP) or Physician Assistant Program 2. Obtain board certification by appropriate certifying body prior to starting program 3. Obtain License to practice with prescriptive authority in the State of Ohio 4.
