  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the classroom teacher with daily lesson implementation and instructional activities.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students across grade levels K–8 as directed by the teacher.
  • Help maintain a structured, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support classroom management and reinforce positive behavior expectations.
  • Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization.
  • Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities.
  • Assist students with assignments and reinforce learning concepts.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student needs and progress.
  • Integrate and model Catholic values in interactions with students.
  • Participate in school activities and meetings as appropriate.
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and spiritual development.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
