The May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders in Norwood, MA, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and classroom leadership for children and adolescents with brain injuries, neurobehavioral disorders, and other complex diagnoses.
As one of the few U.S. pediatric programs specializing in both education and rehabilitation for these students, we offer an innovative, supportive environment where you can make a lasting impact.
Your Impact
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning and behavioral needs.
- Guide and mentor teachers and teacher assistants, fostering a collaborative and supportive team.
- Analyze student progress using data-driven strategies to refine instructional methods and interventions.
- Stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices in special education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and best-practice standards in special education and behavior management.
