Duties & Responsibilities
Designs and implements innovative health education and wellness programs tailored to student needs Evaluates the effectiveness of wellness programs and adjusts based on feedback and outcomes Collaborates with campus departments and community partners to enhance program delivery and reach Acts as a key resource for students and staff on health and wellness topics Builds and maintains relationships with local organizations to support and fund wellness initiatives Secures external funding through grants and partnerships to sustain and expand wellness programs Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of health education theories and wellness program design Knowledge of advancing wellness education and mental health support for students Skill in program implementation and evaluation in a wellness or educational setting Skill in resource development and external funding acquisition Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse partners and stakeholders Ability to foster relationships and build networks Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in related field 2 years of relevant experience Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered Job Level Overview Specialized Contributor Level 2 - A fully functional role requiring established knowledge of the profession or field of work. What You’ll Do: Oversee the Wellness Peer Educator program, including recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing supervision Collaborate with the Health Promotion team to design and implement innovative, data-informed initiatives responsive to student needs Analyze campus health and wellness data to guide program development and continuous improvement Build and maintain partnerships with on- and off-campus resources to expand health promotion efforts Impact: Your work will directly support student well-being and success—helping to foster a caring, connected, and resilient campus community.
