  • Academies of Math and Science 4th Grade ELA & Social Studies Teacher Location: Little Rock, Arkansas Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year Compensation Range: $53,314 – $56,016 annually (DOE) Position Overview Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of high-performing K–8 public charter schools committed to academic excellence, college readiness, and equitable access to high-quality education for students in historically underserved communities.
  • AMS is seeking a passionate and student-centered 4th Grade ELA & Social Studies Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that fosters literacy, critical thinking, historical inquiry, and academic growth.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Hold a valid Arkansas Standard Teaching License with Elementary Education certification, OR Be eligible for Arkansas educator licensure through an approved pathway, OR Hold a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and meet Arkansas Department of Education licensure requirements. Additionally, candidates must: Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Show a commitment to serving Title I and multilingual learner communities. Possess strong instructional and analytical skills. Demonstrate collaboration, professionalism, and initiative in a team-based environment. Successfully complete all required background checks and Arkansas Department of Education employment requirements.
