The Guest Teacher (Substitute Teacher) is responsible for maintaining continuity of instruction in the regular classroom teacher's absence. Guest Teachers ensure a safe, structured, and productive learning environment while implementing lesson plans and upholding Louisiana Key Academy’s expectations for student behavior, engagement, and academic focus. This role requires strong classroom management, professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
Monday–Friday (schedule aligns to local school district calendar). Assignments may vary based on campus needs.

Collaborate with SPED staff, interventionists, and leadership to support student needs Maintain confidentiality of all student information Follow all student safety protocols and mandatory reporting requirements Maintain accurate documentation when required for student support or incidents
Education: Bachelor’s degree required Experience: Prior experience working with students or in an educational setting preferred Certification: Teaching certification not required
