The Dalton School, a progressive K-12 gender-inclusive school in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is consistently recognized as one of the preeminent independent day schools in the nation. Known for its child-centered approach and an exceptional, inspiring faculty, Dalton enrolls over 1,300 students with approximately 350 faculty and staff. Guided by the Dalton Plan, the foundation of a Dalton education, our faculty meets each student’s evolving needs, interests, and abilities. We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced coaches to join our Athletics Program for the Fall 2026 season. Coaching opportunities may be available across our Middle School and High School teams (grades 7-12) and at a variety of competitive levels. The season runs from August through the end of October. We are looking for coaches who are passionate about working with student-athletes, building positive team culture, and supporting skill development, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Previous coaching or competitive playing experience is preferred along with strong leadership skills. Candidates should be available weekday afternoons and hold or be willing to obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
