Vineland Lakes HS Reading Interventionist/ ESOL Compliance Specialist

For this position, you must have your Florida Reading Endorsement on your State Certificate. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS QUALIFICATION!

We are looking for a candidate that is student-focused, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, has good communication, and data-driven.

This position has dual responsibilities that includes, but is not limited too

1.) You are responsible but not limited too working with students using various platforms such as Reading Plus and IXL to increase student passing rates on state assessments required to receive a high school diploma, monitoring progress, communicating with parents, and staff regarding progress, and test scores.

2.) This position is responsible for working with our English Language Learners. This includes but is not limited working with the Osceola County School District to ensure compliance is maintained according to the State, testing, parent meetings, files are accurate and updated, working with students on language acquisition, working with and managing an Instructional Assistant, and planning parent events.
