About the Role

• The Graduate Assistant for Women's Soccer plays a pivotal role in supporting the coaching staff and contributing to the overall success of the women's soccer program within an educational institution.
• This position involves assisting with daily team operations, including practice planning, player development, and game preparation, while fostering a positive and competitive team environment.
• The Graduate Assistant will also engage in administrative duties such as coordinating travel, managing equipment, and maintaining compliance with institutional and athletic regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Acceptance into a graduate program at the employing institution.
• Demonstrated experience playing or coaching soccer at the collegiate or competitive youth level.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a graduate assistant or coaching intern in collegiate athletics.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience with video analysis software and statistical tracking tools.
• Background in sports psychology or athlete development.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach and coaching staff in planning and conducting daily practices and training sessions.
• Support player development through individual skill training, video analysis, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate logistics for team travel, equipment management, and scheduling of games and events.
