The Ivy Street School is a small, year-round private residential special education school serving neurodiverse adolescents and young adults ages 13–22. Students regularly engage in meaningful community-based learning experiences that support transition planning, life skills, and independent living. The Position We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and flexible Per Diem Youth Support Counselors to work across both our educational and residential programs. This is a highly interactive, hands-on role supporting neurodiverse adolescents throughout their school day, residential routines, community experiences, and therapeutic programming. Staff work collaboratively with teachers, clinicians, nurses, and residential teams to help students develop the skills needed for adulthood and independent living. This role is ideal for candidates interested in: Special Education Psychology Counseling Social Work Human Services Mental Health Behavioral Health Nursing or Healthcare Schedule & Pay School Program Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm $22.28/hour Residential Program Flexible per diem scheduling available, including: Afternoons & evenings Awake overnight shifts Weekends & holidays Per diem staff must work a minimum of 3 shifts per month.
