About the role

Provide classroom experiences for Religious Studies students grounded in higher education best practices. Support and promote the university's Franciscan core values and mission.

Felician University is offering exciting opportunities for Adjunct Faculty in Religious Studies in the School of Arts and Sciences, University Library Department for the 2026-2027 academic year. Under the mentorship of full-time faculty, adjunct faculty provide classroom experiences grounded in “best practices” for higher education and their respective disciplines.

Position Type

Part-time, 1-2 courses per semester, maximum 3 days per week. Day and evening classes, online and traditional formats available.

Department: School of Arts & Sciences, Humanities Department

Required Education: Master’s degree in Religious Studies or related field of expertise required, doctoral degree preferred

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience teaching at the baccalaureate level
  • Demonstrated evidence of online teaching experience
  • Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University
