Centerpoint is a 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) for emotionally disturbed adolescent males. The primary mission of Centerpoint is the treatment and rehabilitation of adolescent males with mental illness and challenging behaviors. Centerpoint provides a secure, clinically intensive residential program that enhances growth and coping skills. The program’s ultimate goal is to enable each resident to attain optimal psychological and social growth; to transition to a less restrictive setting and eventually into the greater community.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $94,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Massachusetts teaching certification by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
  • Relevant experience with grades 5-12 preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of the needs of the population served; understanding of the range of interventions and treatment required by this population.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
