Job description

Description Little Friends Center for Autism is looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join their outpatient clinic multi-disciplinary team as a key member of the Foundations Therapeutic Program.

The Foundations Therapeutic Program helps children build the skills, confidence, and connections they need for what comes next.

  • OTs develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for referred clients.
  • Will assess the OT needs of referred clients and write reports with recommendations.
  • Write goals ensuring the treatment plan is appropriate and current and document progress on those goals using SOAP notes.
  • Consult with parents/guardians to integrate occupational therapy plans into the home environment.
  • Communicate with schools, doctors or other therapists when permitted and necessary to obtain or give information per parental requests.
  • Prove 6-month progress summaries on all clients in caseload.

Hours Beginning August 2026 9am - 12pm Monday - Friday Option to add-on afternoon hours

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy with Illinois state licensure. Experience with pediatric and autism population preferred. School or clinic experience as well as experience with sensory integration preferred.
