About the role

Implement one-on-one behavioral plans designed by BCBAs for children on the autism spectrum. Collect and report data to monitor treatment effectiveness and support families in implementing these plans.

Overview Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21.

We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team.

Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a center-based setting.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required Available M-F 3 or 4 to 7pm Prior experience working with children preferred Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities #BT3

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED and availability Monday through Friday from 3/4 PM to 7 PM. Prior experience working with children or those with developmental disabilities is preferred.
