How you’ll contribute
- The Athletic Trainer supports student athletes across a variety of school-based sports programs by providing injury prevention, evaluation, and care. This role partners with coaches, families, and physicians to promote safe participation in athletics, deliver immediate first aid, and guide recovery through rehabilitation and conditioning programs. The Athletic Trainer assists with coverage for practices and events, prepares athletes for participation, and serves as a key resource for sports medicine education within the school community. Working under the direction of the Director of Physician Services and affiliated physicians, this position requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards.
- Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepares athletes/patients for practice or competition.
- Evaluates and manages injuries and determines whether a referral is necessary. Maintains a medical file on each athletes/patients and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athletes/patients.
- Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes/patients.
- Other duties as assigned.

- What we’re looking for Applicants should have
- Bachelor's degree in an applied discipline required
- An active Athletic Training certification/ BOC certified and state certification or registration required
