Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and assessments Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions Manage prenatal care, labor, and delivery Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical records Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Valid medical license to practice in Texas Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care Flexible availability for contract assignments

Outpatient Opening Overview

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30/8a-5p
  • No required call
  • Setting: Outpatient academic clinic Variable patient volume

Duties

Mix of OB/GYN visits and routine procedures Required Procedures: LARC, colposcopies, and biopsies Will supervise OB/GYN and Family Medicine residents EMR: Epic Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses

Inpatient Opening Overview

Schedule

  • ~1-2x 24-hour in-house call shifts per week (including weekends)
  • Potential hybrid schedule with clinic responsibilities
  • Setting:
  • L&D,
  • OR, and emergent care

  • NICU onsite
  • Annual
  • Volume: 3,500 deliveries

Duties

L&D coverage, C-sections, OB emergencies, GYN and ED consults, urgent/emergent surgeries, resident supervision (OB/GYN and Family Medicine), and optional robotics/minimally invasive surgery Support Staff: OB hospitalist teams and private OB group EMR: Epic Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses
