Job description

Purpose of this position

This position will be trained to provide services to youth by providing assistance when needed to prevent or intervene during time of potential crisis. This position will report to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • include, but are not limited to:
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop further knowledge of casework principles, practices and methodology
  • Knowledge of individual and group behavior and the interrelationships between social, economic, psychological, and general physiological factors
  • Knowledge of current social, economic, and health problems and resources, with emphasis upon factors relating to physical and mental health of all age groups
