What you will do
Youth Care Workers work directly with the youth providing supervision. They work with the youth to make sure the day-to-day schedule is followed. Responsibilities can include supervising youth in the school, taking youth to medical appointments or outings.
To be considered you should
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~Bilingual in Spanish and English~ 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting ~ Internal applicants must be a Coach Counselor with no less than standard performance and at least 90 days of experience at Rite of Passage in a Coach Counselor or higher Direct Care Position. Staff in this position must have completed Initial Qualifications Training (Tech 22) prior to placement in this position~ Training within 6 months of placement in the position~ Supervisory experience preferred~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule
- Two Shifts B Shift Days –Every other Wednesday to Saturday 7a-8p or 8a-9p *1 hour break each day
