Adjunct Faculty Position Open Call for Professional Studies

Adjunct faculty appointments are part-time temporary, non-benefits-eligible assignments for one semester in duration, with a teaching load not to exceed 9 credit hours. This is an open call for potential adjuncts. Any qualified applicants will be shared with the division dean in the respective degree area. Responsibilities

The majority of instructional duties will be at the main campus in Parkersburg, but may also include the instruction of classes at the Jackson County Center in Ripley or at the Innovation Technology Center in Vienna. Teaching assignments may include evening, weekend, hybrid and/or totally on-line instruction.

Requirements

Master’s degree in the subject matter from a recognized, regionally accredited college or university. Alternatively, a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 semester hours graduate credit in the subject matter. For technical fields where a Master’s degree does not exist (for example, welding), experience or alternate certifications may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. College-level teaching experience. (preferred)
