Provide a safe and welcoming classroom environment that supports the development of independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain accurate records including attendance, accident/incident reports, and developmental progress as required by school policy and DCF. Communicate effectively with parents through conferences, newsletters, and daily interactions. Collaborate with assistant teachers, staff, and administration to foster a team-oriented environment. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements, including DCF staff-to-child ratios.
