Position: Varsity head coach
Reports to: Athletic Director/HS Principal
The Cheer Varsity Head Coach at Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School for the SY 2026-2027 fall athletic season is a vital component of our athletic program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Program Leadership
- Organize tryouts, lead practice sessions, and supervise student-athletes before, during, and after games.
- Technical
- Instruction: Teach sport fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship to all participating athletes.
- Compliance &
- Safety: Ensure all athletes have current medical physicals and guarantee strict adherence to MIAA and school athletic rules.
- Operations: Properly maintain all team equipment and uniforms.
- Collaboration: Stay in close communication with the Athletic Director regarding all aspects of the program.
