Position Purpose
The Pediatric Therapy Technician (PTT) plays a vital role in supporting high-quality, compassionate care for children receiving ABA, OT, PT, and ST at Children With Opportunity. The PTT assists therapists in delivering meaningful, developmentally appropriate interventions by preparing materials, supporting treatment sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and helping children feel motivated and confident as they work toward their goals. Maintaining an organized therapy space and collaborating with the clinical team to promote consistent, child-centered care creates opportunities for every client to grow and thrive during sessions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Interested in a graduate degree in ABA, OT, PT, SLP, Early Childhood Special Education or other related field (preferred)
- Criminal background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
- Understanding of HIPAA and adherence to all policies
- Works with integrity and ethically
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion
- Familiarity with the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder and pediatric therapy preferred

Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and clean up of activities, toys, and materials.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of group activities and clinic spaces.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including ABA, OT, PT and Speech Therapy.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by Children With Opportunity.
- Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend meetings, training, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.
- Maintain professionalism and maintain company culture and values.
