- As a Summer Student Teacher, you'll help bring our camp to life by organizing supplies, lesson materials, and activity gear that fuel unforgettable experiences.
- You'll lead engaging Math and ELA sessions for our awesome 5th–8th graders, making learning come alive in fresh and exciting ways.
- You'll be a key part of the team, helping plan creative activities while keeping things safe, smart, and in line with Michigan childcare guidelines and Matrix policies.

- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver engaging, standards-based ELA and Math instruction to rising 5th–8th grade students Utilize the Lavina RISE curriculum (training provided) to guide lessons and instructional strategies Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including students with disabilities and English language learners Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adapting instruction as needed Collaborate with summer camp staff to integrate academic learning with overall camp activities Participate in required training, meetings, and planning sessions Supervise students during instructional time and ensure their safety POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Certified teachers with experience supporting students with disabilities or multilingual learners Current Michigan-certified teachers, including those with limited classroom experience Former educators or individuals currently pursuing teacher certification **Must be able to show proof of certification(s)**
