Position Summary

The Professional Community Educator serves as a community- and employer-facing health educator and navigator, advancing the mission of St. Luke’s Hospital by promoting health, wellness, and disease prevention across diverse populations. This role supports the delivers education, screenings, and outreach initiatives while connecting individuals to appropriate healthcare resources, physicians, and service lines. The position supports community engagement through partnerships, events, and workplace wellness programming, consistently demonstrating the organization’s mission, vision, and values. This position is utilized on an as-needed basis. Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Education, or related field is required.

Experience

2–3 years of experience in teaching, community health, or health education preferred.

Licensure

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required),
