Position Summary

Under the supervision of the sports medicine medical director and the orthopedic practice manager, the Certified Athletic Trainer organizes and performs athletic trainer services for St. Luke's Hospital and manages athletic care at assigned locations ten months out of each year. Also, participates in educational duties inherent to the position. Organizes and performs medically prescribed programs. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Work in partnership with Missouri Baptist University Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree with specialization in athletic training.

Experience

1-2 years experience in health care field, with at least one year experience as a certified athletic trainer.

Licensure

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. Certification through the National Athletic Trainer's Association is preferred.
