Hourly Rate: $18-$19

- What you will bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- 60 hours college credits OR Passed the ParaPro assessment before 9/23 through Pearson 9/23 – 6/20/24; though ETS 7/1/24 – 6/30/26; after 7/1/26 – Parapathways assessment through ET OR 20 HR substitute certificate course
- Valid Missouri Driver’s license.
- Successful background clearance, physical, agility test, and drug/alcohol screening.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, and run.
- What you will do
- Support students in a classroom setting at the Hope Learning Academy and complete appropriate data tracking and entry.
- Provide instruction and assistance that meets students’ Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives.
- Encourage student independence while following the classroom schedule and implementing educational programs.
- Foster a stimulating, accepting, and safe learning environment for all students.
- What we prefer
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an education or human services related field.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Classroom setting experience.
