EH219 - Full-Time Nanny - Chelsea, NY

• Overview A family of three residing in Chelsea, NY is seeking a nanny to help care for their 2-year-old daughter.
• Their daughter attends school from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday through Friday.
• The couple are flexible and are offering two different schedules: Live-out - 3.30pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday, 1 evening of babysitting, and Saturdays 9am-6pm. (Total of 34.5 hours per week).
• OR Live-in/out - 7.30am-8.30am, and then 3.30pm to 8pm Monday through Friday, 1 evening of babysitting, and Saturdays 9am-6pm.
• You will be required to work full days Monday through Friday during the school holidays where Saturdays will be flexible.
• With this schedule you will be paid a full-time salary all year round to ensure your availability.
• This role is to start at the end the end of August, beginning of September.

Responsibilities

Everything related to the care of the child, including but not limited to her laundry, organizing and tidying her room, etc Preparing healthy meals Planning fun activities and outings Have a firm but fair approach with the ability to set boundaries, following the parents' preferences Support bath and bedtime routines Ensure the child's school bag and clothing is prepare for the next day Travel with the family if required Babysitting

Qualifications

The candidate should be patient, loving, and kind Ability to support their daughters development CPR and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain one

Requirements

Valid US work authorization Travel ready passport Fluent English speaking French speaking is a plus Ability to care for the child overnight when the parents travel (2-3 nights per month) Babysitting Salary and Benefits $35 per hour (if only working the afternoons and Saturday) $80K + (DOE, if working the full-time role) PTO 10 days 5 sick days Health insurance Metrocard (if live-out)
