The Assistant Women's Softball Coach will assist the Head Coach with the overall oversight of the team's daily operations, including sport-specific instruction, conditioning, and game strategy. Duties also encompass facility upkeep, equipment organization, recruiting prospects, and traveling to away games during the season.
Job Description: Summary
The Assistant Softball Coach will assist the Head Softball Coach with the overall oversight of the day-to-day operations and functions of the SF softball team.
A combination of education and/or post high-school sport experience equal to four (4) years, which may include: a bachelor's degree with collegiate playing experience; an associate's degree with collegiate playing experience and two (2) years of directly related experience in coaching at any level or playing at the collegiate and/or professional level; or a high school degree or equivalent with four (4) years of coaching experience at the collegiate and/or professional level.
A criminal background check will be conducted. Must be able to lift/carry items more than 20 pounds; push and pull; bend and stoop; reach and grasp; and other repetitive motions.
A bachelor’s degree with collegiate playing experience.
