Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Previous experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer capacity is required.
Youth Counselor - Overnight
General Objective The Youth Counselor Overnight (YCO) is a full time entry level line worker position that provides for the general care of at-risk youth during late hours, sleep hours and early morning for the residents and manages that timeframe of the treatment milieu and routine within a home. The Youth Counselor Overnight is part of the backbone of our quality of care and treatment for these youth.
Provide a safe, consistent and structured living environment. Serve as a positive role model. Teach important life skills. Perform routine household duties like cleaning, organizing and basic maintenance Support a cooperative and collaborative staff team environment.
Applicants must meet our state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire along with these basic qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed Ability to climb stairs as needed
