The intern provides psychotherapy services, mental health assessments, and therapeutic behavioral support to students and families. They are responsible for developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating care with school professionals and parents.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology and be currently enrolled in a master's degree program in social work. They must be able to obtain SWT status and demonstrate effective communication skills.
Summary The Social Work intern is responsible for shadowing and providing psychotherapy services including mental health assessments, individual and family psychotherapy, therapeutic behavioral support/case management, psychoeducation prevention services and consultation with school professionals, parents and students as needed. Services are primarily provided in the school/community/home with the availability of telehealth as clinically indicated.

This position is eligible for the Ohio Higher Education Great Minds Fellowship for those enrolled in a participating school.
