Carolina Preparatory Academy (Carolina Prep) seeks a Part-Time Adjunct Spanish Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year beginning August 2026. Under the general direction of the Director of Middle & Upper School, the ideal candidate will provide engaging, challenging, and student-centered instruction in Spanish language acquisition courses, including Spanish 3 and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) Spanish, serving students in both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The Adjunct Spanish Teacher will foster students’ proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and cultural understanding while promoting intercultural awareness, global engagement, and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will inspire students to become confident and independent language learners, critical thinkers, and internationally minded individuals who demonstrate curiosity, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives.
This position requires a collaborative educator who can effectively prepare students for the academic rigor and assessment expectations of the IB Diploma Programme while supporting the development of language acquisition skills within the MYP framework. The successful candidate will contribute positively to Carolina Prep’s vibrant academic community and uphold the school's commitment to excellence, innovation, and global citizenship.
