Candidates must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state of Indiana and a graduate of an accredited nursing school. Experience in pediatrics, vaccines, quality control, and education is preferred.

The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Nurse contributes to IHC’s mission by working across IHC sites to improve pediatric care coordination through the standardization of screenings, implementing the use of motivational interviewing, ensuring implementing SDOH screenings. They also educate staff to ensure that children and families are connected with local partners, including local WIC, Head Start, and Help Me Grow programs. The ECD Nurse works with the pediatric providers and other team members to achieve goals set by the ECD grant award. Preferred qualifications for the position include experience in pediatrics, vaccines, quality control, and education.
Graduation from an accredited nursing school. Registered Nurse OR Licensed Practical Nurse and licensed in the state of Indiana.
